C.S. Aluminium Corporation (CSAC) is the largest manufacturer of rolled aluminium products in Taiwan. It mainly produces high quality aluminium and zinc cast products such as aluminium plates, rolls, sheets, foil, zinc alloy ingots, zinc anodes for electroplating, and hot-dip zinc ingots. In response to the rise of the emerging markets and the demand for green aluminium materials, CSAC initiated its Phase II Expansion Project with the total investment of NTD15,000,000,000 in 2011 after careful planning. Equipment with high efficiency, low energy consumption, and low pollution has been added. Production will initiate after the whole project is completed in 2014. As a result, the production capacity will be further increased with the addition of the brand new equipment, and quality will also be upgraded. CSAC will be able to adequately supply the aluminium alloy materials needed to manufacture food packaging, transportation, 3C electronic products, etc. domestically and internationally for the development of both environmental protection and green energy industries.
CSAC’s management team has upheld CSC’s values of being innovative and dedicated to execution in running the operation since its establishment in 1996. Based on the concepts of “practicality, innovation, growth, and co-prosperity,” the management team has led all of the employees to seek growth, energy conservation, environment protection, and value innovation continuously. CSAC conducts annual verification in its quality, environmental protection, health and safety, and energy systems in the hope of its sound development and fulfills its responsibilities to stockholders, customers, employees, and the society. This is the critical time for CSAC to upgrade and transform. The R&D for green materials will be continued, talents will be nurtured and trained, and its overall competitiveness will be enhanced. Its core competitiveness regarding quality, delivery, costs, and services will be strengthened to expand its sales and distribution channels so that it can continue to maintain its competitive advantage and become an excellent international aluminium company in East Asia.

Appropriate horizontal and vertical shade panels of the wall windows were established to increase the shadow depth of their facades so that the efficiency of indoor air conditioning could be influenced by reducing the emission of direct sunlight.

The double-layer design of the curtain wall facing south together with appropriate openings and punched aluminium panels created the functions of shading and natural ventilation.

Low radiation coated glass doors and windows were used to reduce the sun’s radiation which influenced the indoor temperature, maintained good light transmission, and reduced the reflectivity of the glass to avoid light pollution.
